::: A special issue of Beaux Arts dedicated to Comics is on the stands :::.

Saw this in the window of a shop the other day and snatched it up. Sandra is reading it and contemplating a review of sorts. Contains Full colour stories and large samples of various artists work illustrating articles on various aspects of contemporary comics. A defiant Highlight is an original 8-page silent comic by Fabrice Neaud on the history of comics, this is very cool. The book is literally full of wonderful art, not just a small handful of images. The majority of the magazine is given over to one page write-ups of an impressive list of accomplished artists for across the planet. Each write-up is accompanied by a self-portrait and one or a few pages of art. Note to collectors: some of it is unpublished stuff! It’s all very beautiful.
