wanted to point out these in particular;
‘The Aspiring Comic Book Artist’s On-line Mentor’ A page on Yanick Paquette’s site that he and Michel Lacombe put together a while back, Has some decent advice, particularly if you are interested in tips on working in a photo realistic or ‘Heroic’ clear line style.
Includes three Quick lessons, on writing, pencilling, & inking. As well as a list of good recommended reading suggestions.
It’s an ideal introductory site for bingers; but potentially helpful to all artists depending on there approach to studying their craft.
And the work of two accomplished Canadian Artists, Stuart Immonen & Kagan Mcleod. (don't miss the link to Kagen's comic, Infinite Kung Fu! - very cool! Thanks to Z for the fed ex box of magazines that turned me on to his stuff).
