::: Luc Giard, roi du web (king of the Web)
Over at the MG web site, Jimmy has taken a few moments to update the galleries of some of the artists working with him in the Mécanique Générale Collective.
In particular in his latest news update he calls attention to the work of Luc Giard , one of his mentors, and in his opinion he and Benoît are "En fait, je les considére comme les deux plus grands artistes vivants au Québec” Two of the greatest living artists in Québec. In his latest posting he tells us that Luc’s work can not truly be judged by his work in comics alone, one would have to go to his Studio and look through the piles of work strewn about as though they were rags. He is prolific and in Jimmy’s opinion, a profound talent. You can judge for yourself by dropping by his web page and flipping through a few of the choice rags Jimmy has scanned and mounted there.

Whether you agree with Jimmy or not, it is undisputable that Luc is one of best artists working in QC today, and that he does indeed transcend medium and form, his is the work of an highly accomplished artist, sans qualifiers.
