 Nursing a bad back, Jimmy Beaulieu has posted a series of drawing of swimming beauties on the MG site, here//ici. You’ll find them linked off his site under the section “comix / en apnée à Nassau” along with many other (not so) small collections of his drawings and a few stories.
The drawings were originally gathered to be put out as a monograph but funds and interest waned so he gives them to the world wide web to swim in the data streams.
Also he takes a moment to tell us a bit more about the upcoming Plan cartésien.
For starts, the contribution by Luc Giard for the book overflowed in bounty and in order to accommodate it, it will be published in a sister book of it’s own, titled ‘Le pont du havre’.
Both books are slated to go to press this September. I better get the lettering for HelpLess en français pasted up!
And finaly he lets us know that he will be teaching a workshop [in French I assume] on comic strips at the collège du Vieux Montréal in September, you can write him about it if you wish to attend. mg@pastis.org
