Interesting lay of the land if you’re interested in doing newspaper strips at all. A bit amusing to hear Scott compare himself artistically to Garry Trudeau (?!). One thing that struck me was, at one point he cops to self-censoring his strips, taking out words like ‘buttocks’ to keep the strip ‘tasteful’…..buttocks! how shocking! All to avoid clashes with editors with names like Stern – it’s a bad Cheech and Chong joke I tell ya!…. I doubt that anyone involved with this article sees this as a core problem with the funny pages these days.
