On the table
While the T3 inking job has monopolized my time this last few months that job is coming up on the home stretch now. Recently seen some of the finished pages and it’s definitely looking like some fine eye candy, tip of the hat to Paul Mounts who’s doing a mighty fine job. For my part the inking has been relatively painless, though my hands are getting a bit clawed, Goran is quite a bit more detailed oriented than I have been in my own drawings for some time now, all those little lines. It’s been a while since I spent this much time with a .01 pen. Nice results but hard on the old fingers.
Doodling Still, when I can I’ve been working on my own stuff, though I’m getting more doodling than any constructive work done. Generally feeling a bit burnt out from the super long winter blahs capped off by the fact that I’m running at less than 100% after my last kidney stone attack. Feel like a linebacker kicked me in the gut.
But, I’ve had a few quick illustration gigs, examples seen here.
And I reformatted ‘HelpLess’, the story
a.j. and I did for
‘Working For The Man’ for print in the next edition of Legal Action Comics. You wont get the full colour spectacle that it is, but it still works well in B&W. Look for that in the summer some time. http://www.dannyhellman.com/
a.j. is currently working on a French translation of that for publication this summer as well, details on that later.
