 My new novel is just back from the printer. AN OPENING ACT OF UNSPEAKABLE EVIL is a tale of the urban occult told through online blog entries. I'm really happy with how the cover turned out, the right mix of strange and silly, with texture and shadows that are slightly forboding. If you were here with me I'd grab one from a box and thrust it into your hands, but since you're not, here's the next best thing.
Most people on this mailing list know that I publish my own books in Canada. Previously in the US I've been published by the good folks at Four Walls Eight Windows, but for this book I've decided to publish myself in the US via No Media Kings. I'm pretty stoked about this, and I think I have a good chance of making it work. It'll be launching simultanously in the US and Canada in September.
But between this foreign expansion and publishing two books in a year, No Media Kings is even more bare-bones than usual. So I'm hoping that I can get your support on getting the resources together to give this book a good push.
