WORD ON THE STREET - BARKING RAVEN PRESS and Ken Boesem will be appearing at The Word On The Street, Canada’s national book and magazine festival, at the Vancouver Public Library. He'll be with the other alternative comix & zine people downstairs in the Word "Under" The Street section of the event from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm. Admission is FREE! He'll also be sitting on a DIY comix panel called "Pencils, Pixels & Paper" and heading up a little "Creative Copying" workshop on making mini-comics. One of the special festival guests this year is Canadian cartooning superstar Lynn Johnston, creator of the popular newspaper comic strip For Better Or For Worse.

VANCOUVER COMICON - BARKING RAVEN PRESS creator Ken Boesem will be appearing along with other special guests from the local & the larger comics scenes, as well as many dealers of comic book back issues, at the historic Heritage Hall in beautiful Vancouver BC CANADA from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm. Admission is $3.00.
