Whether it be the real life adventures of pirates on the high seas, the doomed pirate sea port of Port Royal or the more fictional stories like last year's feature "Pirates of the Carribbean" or the short-lived "El Cazador" comic, audiences have historically been attracted to those swashbuckling adventures.
