Wizard likes us...

My collaborator on Sea of Red Rick Remender has been sending me links for the last week, thought I should get it together to share a couple with you here.

For one thing, there is a spread in Wizard 166, "THE NEW IMAGE COMICS: We look at five great Image books in a Secret Stash special report!". Rick has posted a scan of the SOR page from the feature here.

Also he just sent me a note that the wizarduniverse.com site is holding a poll where you can vote on your favourite of the 5 image titles featured in the article. So far SOR is in 2nd place, if you've been digging the book drop by the site and register your informed consumers opinion, or maybe just vote cus’ you think me or Rick are cute....

New google toy

Wow, its interesting the things you stubble on when doing research.

I just picked up a short penciling gig that I’ll post on later – but looking for ref on Century City, CA, i found this. Both cool and creepy, my addy gets a balloon pointing to a photo of my street, only 7 houses off mine, not quite but damn close.

Very cool new toy, I love it. Try zooming over the earth, it’s fun at about the middle of the rez bar, you grab the screen and pull your self over the patchwork quilt of photos, or you can use the arrows to zorch across the sky in fits. The man shale lull us into privacy complacency in no time with toys like this

Brain food and morning coffee.

Was feeding my brain this morning – A comment by Chomsky about concision in Manufacturing consent had me looking up thoughts on the merits and failings of being concise in ones communications. I found this article from this site interesting – and the summery resonated with me on a number of issues in my own life these days.
