Day Two:
Improvised music: Quebec meets USA!
With the previous eve's musician's (Including T. Moore, contrary to plans) jamming with Montrealers
Particiopants included Luc Bonin , Will Eizlini , Fluffy Erskine, Nicolas Letarte, Michel Meunier, Jonathan Parent , Mauro Pezzente , Sam Shalabi , Pierre Tanguay, Martin Tétreault
Max gets there late & gets caught in the rain on his bike. Oh well.
Tonight's events happen across the street at the Casa del Popolo, a small venue so it's packed tight!
I squeezed into a vacant spot at the bar and set up shop for the night.
Starting off, second act (missed the first) i think was Matt Valentine - not sure it was him without his fedora - making atmospheric sounds on his guitar and two flutes (at the same time!)
Then a bit of an intermission...
...as the next ensemble, Matt joined now buy his partner in the Mvee Medicine Show Erika
Elder, Maura from Godspeed (and the proprietor of the establishment, he's the one hiding off to the right) and some other dudes who frankly I don't have a clue about.
The bartenders are kept busy
I kept busy too, braking down a script for a new Graphic Novel, several people accuse me of being crazy while they wait for their beers.
I draw them.
Some members of Black Ox Orkestar come in and have a drink while they wait for their turn on stage.
Next up...a bald guy plays a saw!

Second night in a row the show sells out! L'Oie de Cravan publisher Benoît Chaput is very happy. His faith in the generosity of the people is renewed...didn't hurt to have some high profile friends in town either I suspect.
Lots of fashionable Plateauites show up and look fashionable.
And a few local celebs....LOOK, it's Young Adonis!
Byron Coley gets some fresh air out front.
Thurston, some of the Black Ox crew and a few others I don't recognize take the stage and rock out discordant noise rock style.
The crowd thins out as it gets late...
And Max turns into a pumpkin. Must find bike..
