Day three;

Got there late, missed a bunch of stuff.
But it was another full house, espeschialy for the
first bands, Frank Martel & Black Ox Orkestar.

But the joint was jumping when i got there still...

I caught HangedUp, and I’m in love.

The drummer is a machine,
i couldn't get one shot where he wasn't moving a million miles an hour.

Music made me think of Shellac but much tighter in the drums,
ala Trans Am. And in place of the simply rhythmic base crunch
Hanged Up has a violin passed through pedals and played
with the spirit of AC~DC channelling through it.

The flowing sound of a bowed
instrument with big ROCK crunch.
Me likes!

Ran into Sebastien Trahan of the MG gang

and Maxime, a friend of Jimmy's from Germany.
He was taking pictures too.

-Frédérik was there with a new lady friend

and i ended the night over a 3am breakfast with Bernie Mireault & Jesse Bochner (Young Adonis).

Picked up a copy of Band D'Humans (The book being launched)

looks nice, a 8.5" square B&W with white spine,
interiors printed on off-white yellowish paper.

Haven't had a chance to read it yet but it looks melancholy indeed.
Sadly the author Gigi Perron did not show up so my copy remains unsigned.

And finally, as the night wound down to ravage noisy art noise I moseyed on down to the dinning lounge & ended the night over a 3am breakfast with Bernie Mireault & Jesse Bochner (Young Adonis).
