Where the Wild things are is a 4 page [pg 1&2 shown here] story I drew in around 1999/2000, in response to my experience of adapting to a new city [Montreal] and a new life there. I'd lived in my home town of Toronto for 27 years before that and found my new surroundings both familiar and friendly and simultaneously lonely. I began an intensely introverted period [not my first] and the poem that was the starting point for this story was one of the byproducts of that journey.
